Village Dairy or Llaeth Y Llan in Welsh, is a family owned and managed business which was set up in 1980 by Falmai and Gareth Roberts. They produce beautiful yoghurts with milk from their own farm. In the latter half of 2011, our first task was to rebrand the organisation. We created a new logo which reinforced their brand values of quality and homemade, but which would also compete with the National yoghurt brands. Subsequent to this, we set about creating a range of packaging options inspired by traditional Cornishware, and with a personal and approachable tone of voice. The result is these rather colourful yoghurt pots, already available in supermarkets. We’re also building a really fun new website and developing relevant POS and print collateral to assist the launch.
