Lead Web Developer

Key Responsibilities

Working with our front end developers and designers to provide technical PHP and Javascript solutions through Expression Engine 1.7 & 2.1 and associated modules.

Technical Requirements:

  • Strong PHP and Javascript / jQuery experience
  • Experience in mobile applications (iOS/Android)
  • E-commerce development and APIs
  • Trouble shooting for cross-platform browser testing
  • An understanding of Facebook APIs
  • Ability to optimise sites for client and server performance
  • Experience in version control (SVN)
  • Ability to manage client expectations, budgets and timescales
  • Ability to communicate within a team of developers, designers and programmers
  • Network troubleshooting
  • Working with multi-lingual sites

Project Management:

  • Producing functionality briefs
  • Creating sitemaps / wireframes
  • Client CMS Training
  • Client management / support
  • Communicating with clients through Basecamp
  • Managing web servers (CPanel & WHM)

Desirable

  • Previous experience in a ‘Lead Developer’ role
  • Managing and developing internal systems
  • Experience in Google Analytics / Adwords and Merchant
