Creative Lead / Senior Designer (full-time)
View Creative Agency is an exciting design agency in North Wales and is looking for a Creative Lead to head up the creative department . The existing team are highly creative people, but we are looking for someone special that can help build new vision, nurture and progress the creative department.
We have some amazing clients, many of which are London based and are located in a superb location next to the sea in North Wales. We are approx 20 miles from the snowdon mountains.

37, Rhos Road, Rhos on Sea
Key responsibilites:
- Working with the Managing Director, develop the overall brand direction and ethos for View Creative.
- Inspire and lead an ambitious team of graphic and web designers
- Working alongside our Business Developer to create accurate design briefs
- Brief design teams on new projects
- Direct team brainstorming and feedback sessions
- Meet and pitch creative concepts to client
- Working closely with clients to deliver innovative creative approaches for print and web.
- Explore new directions for illustration, photography and copywriting.
- Work closely with the Studio Manager to ensure jobs are delivered on time and on budget.
- Review and feedback designer performance (creative appraisals)
- Works towards creating award winning and featured work
Experience:
- Creative thinker / problem solver
- Strong design and illustration skills
- Proven track record (5 years experience)
- Lead by example
- Ability to effectively communicate thoughts and ideas to the design team
- Good sense of humour
- Strong presentation skills (winning work)
- Self-manager, hitting deadlines
- Sound understanding of web technology
- InDesign 6
